Top 10 DUPR Ranked Pickleball Players 2023

If people hadn’t heard of pickleball in 2022, they definitely have in 2023. It seems like five years of progress was made in one year. MLP, PPA contracts, Tennis Channel, CBS Sports, and more are taking note of pickleball tournaments and player ratings.

There is a lot of talk about how professional tennis players are going to come in and dominate the sport. What do you think? Will Ben Johns, Anna Leigh Waters, Tyson McGuffin, and the other top players still be at the top at the end of 2023? Or will Sam Querrey, Jack Sock, and other tennis stars steal the show?

What is DUPR?

DUPR is an innovative global rating system of player rankings for the pickleball community. Rated players are shown on mydupr.com and on the DUPR app.

This system is an algorithm for recreational and professional pickleball players who participate in games and have their official ratings adjusted with sanctioned tournament results and unsanctioned tournaments. DUPR ratings differ in that overall match results count, but so do the total points scored, and recreational self-rating counts differently than league matches. If you have participated as a tournament player, you likely have a skill-level rating already!
