Who Founded Dreamland?
Steve Kuhn, founder of Major League Pickleball League is also the founder of Dreamland, which opened its doors in the middle of the pandemic in 2021.
Kuhn, who has grown MLP exponentially in a short period of time, has said, “Austin is home to a lot of the best players in the world.” This is partly because many of them can train at his pickleball center, Dreamland.
Dreamland is one of the best pickleball facilities in the country, set in the idyllic town of Dripping Springs. Dreamland hosts MLP events, making it a great location for pickleball pros and tournament players who appreciate the controlled conditions of covered pickleball courts.
While the Parks and Recreation Department in nearby Austin has 62 pickleball courts, these outdoor courts are combined with tennis courts and basketball courts and scattered through city parks. Kuhn’s Dreamland offers a community center, 16 dedicated pickleball courts, leagues, clinics, and more for pickleball players.
