Some of the Best Websites for Pickleball You May Not be Visiting
Pickleball is a young sport, but growing rapidly. You can even find the Chicago Cubs playing pickleball for exercise. And with this quick growth, the sport’s online presence is growing too. You can easily discover an abundance of websites for all things pickleball and even find local groups to play with. These sites below have great communities that are constantly growing and producing great content. Check them out!
1. Reddit
Reddit is a popular website that’s split into smaller forums based on interests. You can subscribe to the pages that you’re interested in and ignore the one’s you’re not. They have forums for everything, including pickleball. Right now, the group has just over 5,000 users, but it’s growing every day. The group is also very active and you can get tips on pretty much anything or ask questions about the game.
2. YouTube
Another great way to improve your pickleball game is to watch videos. If you simply search for “pickleball” on YouTube, you can watch highlights of pros and find tons of videos on ways to improve your game. There’s hours and hours of content to digest and learn from. I use YouTube to learn new tactics or find drills to keep improving my game.
3. Places2play
Places2play can help you find somewhere to play pickleball, no matter where you are. Just put in the area that you're looking to play. The biggest issue that I've found with this site is that it can be out of date and the search feature is a little clunky, but it's a great place to start finding places to play!
Of course, there are even more sites to find great pickleball content, like Pickleball University, so this list isn't meant to be exhaustive. As I've started to get more into pickleball, these have been the most useful websites to develop my game and find an active community.
