Green Valley Recreation Pickleball Club
Again, the views at this Arizona facility are breathtaking. Just to play in such a location is an experience in itself, but the club recently received a $1.25 million upgrade to make it the largest pickleball facility in Arizona with 36 total courts. GVR holds tournaments and other events, and is also open for play reservations.
Located in Redmond, Oregon, these courts are part of a large resort that is home to lodging, fine dining, spas and other recreational activities. It was voted Central Oregon’s best family resort, so you can make a whole trip out of playing your favorite game. The incredible views are a huge perk of using their outdoor courts, but in the case of inclement Oregon weather, indoor courts are available, too.
Ok, this one is a gimme. It’s the home of the US Open Pickleball Championships, so of course it’s a big deal. This park has 54 courts and offers a variety of programs including some geared towards youth and seniors. There is also a pro shop on the property.
Pickleball Island is the largest indoor pickleball facility in the state of New York. There is no membership required to play and everyone is offered a free beginner lesson. They also have tournaments, leagues and clinics. As a bonus, the facility houses a pro shop and a “pickleball lounge.”
