40 Videos to Help You Get to a 4.0 Level of Pickleball Play
Pickleball Kitchen is a great resource for pickleball tips and tricks. But they also offer a membership called PK Academy. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Why pickleball players benefit from the PK Academy?
You probably increased your level of play quickly at the start of your pickleball journey. But then maybe you felt stagnant. Like getting over the hump to a 4.0 level seems out of reach. You may know there’s something missing from your game, but don’t quite know exactly what it is. And maybe, it’s difficult (or impossible) to find a certified instructor close to home. These are all the reasons pickleball players around the country are turning to solutions like PK Academy. Geography doesn’t matter one bit, and you get expert advice from IPTPA and PPR certified instructor, Barrett Kincheloe.
How PK Academy works?
The PK Academy website describes the membership as follows.
“PK Academy is an annually recurring membership service that grants members exclusive access to video courses and other supplemental content. More video courses and content will be added as time goes on.”
Basically, when you sign up, lessons will be unlocked over the course of the next 26 days. In total, it’s 8+ hours of lessons. And once you’ve unlocked a video, you’ll have access to it for as long as you remain a member and can watch them any time.

Who is PK Academy for?
The program is structured for intermediate players. I.e., pickleball players at a 2.5 to 3.5 level. But we’d also recommend for beginners who are committed and highly motivated to improve. As well as beginners with extensive previous racket sports experience.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $99/year. Which comes out to ~$3.69/day. Not a bad deal at all! That’s the going rate for a daily coffee these days. But the great part is that they offer you a 4-day free trial. So we recommend giving it a try when you have 4 days you can commit to really digging in. Then, decide if you want to proceed or cancel your membership before the annual fee kicks in.
There’s a reason Pickleball Kitchen gets more than a million views on YouTube every year. Check it out and decide for yourself.
